Prince v. Pittston Brief for the Plaintiffs (mock)

This is a mock legal brief written for a course on politics in law and courts in 2015. It uses the events of the 1972 Buffalo Creek flood as grounds for a legal case in which I provide legal counsel to the plaintiffs against the Pittston Mining Company. The instructor was political science professor Michael Zilis.

This case brief covers Youngstown Sheet and Tube Co. v. Sawyer. It concerns the Supreme Court's limits on executive power, particularly concerning President Truman's lack of authority to seize steel mills during the Korean War. It was written for Dr. Michael Zilis's course on Constitutional law in 2016.
